The director of Ocean County Sports Medicine in Toms River, NJ is Dr. Joseph Tauro. Dr. Tauro is also a Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at Rutgers Medical School, a board member of the Arthroscopy Association of America and one of the developers of arthroscopic surgery on the shoulder. These qualifications, among many others, make him distinctly qualified in sports medicine and surgical education.
