Dr. Tauro leaves today for the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons (AAOS) annual meeting in New Orleans, where he will oversee a course on the best teaching practices for orthopedic surgical instructors. He will be teaching the teachers the best way to teach!
Founded in 1933, the Academy is the preeminent provider of musculoskeletal education to orthopaedic surgeons and others in the world. Its continuing medical education activities include a world-renowned Annual Meeting, multiple CME courses held around the country and at the Orthopaedic Learning Center, and various medical and scientific publications and electronic media materials.
In June, Dr. Tauro will travel to Lima, Peru to teach arthroscopic shoulder reconstruction at the Peruvian Arthroscopic Association annual meeting. He has previously traveled to Turkey, England, and the Netherlands to teach arthroscopic surgery.Leave a reply →
