I have been lucky enough to be teaching shoulder surgery at Rutgers Medical School for more than 25 years. This has also led to opportunities to teach nationally for the American Academy of Orthopedics Surgeons , for the Arthroscopy Association of American and many other national and international organizations.
In order to pursue the development of new techniques and implants for shoulder surgery, I have also worked as a consultant for many orthopedic companies over the years. Most recently, I have been working with ConMed/Linvatec, a fabulous company really dedicated to improving the outcomes of shoulder surgery.
In order to easily share our new techniques with my students, other orthopedic surgeons and other health professionals, we have recently added a new page on our website called surgical education (right below the patient education). Here we highlight some of these new procedures, along with research outcomes.
Everyone is welcome to visit this area of our website but be aware, viewer discretion is advised as they are videos of real procedures! Hope everyone is ready for spring and great New Jersey shore weather!Leave a reply →
